Puzzle OverviewN columns. N rows. Each column and each row contains one equation. "/" is the division symbol. Each equation will use each digit from 1 through N, inclusive, exactly once. There is exactly one solution for each puzzle. Order of math operations:1. Division, from left to right (or top to bottom).2. Multiplication 3. Subtraction 4. Addition Click here to try a few warmupsWebsite OperationFrom the home page select a level, click the corresponding button. On the puzzle page, click in a cell, type a number. Typing x or c will clear that cell. Sometimes you'll be thinking, "This cell has to be a 2 or a 3." After clicking that cell, hold down the SHIFT key, type 2 then 3. You'll see tiny numbers. You can toggle a particular digit by holding down the SHIFT key and typing that digit. Typing an unshifted digit clears the tiny 'possiblity' numbers. Sometimes you'll be thinking, "I need another hint.." Clicking the "Give me a hint" button will reveal a digit. It will be blue. Sometimes you'll want to see how you're doing. Clicking the "Check my answers" button will reveal any mistakes by turning those digits red. |
